Did You Know This CHICKEN - FRESH OR FROZEN ? According to USDA regulations, the term fresh on a poultry label refers to any raw poultry product that has never been below 26° F. Raw poultry held at 0° F or below must be labeled frozen or previously frozen. No specific labeling is required on raw poultry stored at temperatures between 0-25° F. - it does not have to be labeled as frozen. Think about that - if vegetables, beef, pies, or any other product is kept at 0-25° F. it is frozen. But not chicken. It may be hard as a rock, but it does not have to be labeled frozen unless it is held below 0° F.! Using this standard, the ice cubes in the average home refrigerator would not be called frozen ! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In Aug 1969, Charley Pride was at #1 with “All I Have to Offer You (Is Me).” In doing so he accomplished a feat not done in 25 years: an African American entertainer having a #1 hit on the Billboard country chart. The last song by a black performer to reach the summit was "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby" by Louis Jordan, in 1944. Pride became the third black singer to have a #1 country hit (the Nat King Cole-led King Cole Trio had a #1 hit earlier in 1944).
With the success of his third album Ropin' The Wind, sales boosted his first two albums, making Brooks the first country artist with three albums listed in the pop top 20 in one week. Crystal Gayle became the first female artist in country music history to reach Platinum sales with her 1977 album, "We Must Believe in Magic". David Allan Coe was known for his unpredictable live performances, in which he would ride a Harley-Davidson motorcycle onto the stage and curse at his audience. <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <>

Weekly Horoscope: For Mar. 1, 2015 by Georgia Nicols
This is for the week of Mar. 1st thru Mar. 7th All Signs This week there is an exciting dance between lucky, moneybags Jupiter, unpredictable Uranus and fair Venus. When spontaneous Uranus dances with money planets, this means pennies from heaven. (Oh yeah.) However, hold the phone. Do not immediately bet all your money on long odds that pay off big because there are no guarantees. But it is a fact that many of you will receive a boon or a windfall this week. Read your sign to find out where this might happen in your life. But I repeat - there are no guarantees for this influence, which admittedly does exist. We all know it is possible to come back from Las Vegas with a small fortune, if you went there with a large one.
