Place arrow over photo to see price, these were last
weeks price, as you know the price can change overnight. U-PICK Strawberries are available all around the Plant City area, I've heard of prices running from $4.00 to $6.00 a flat, they don't get any fresher that when you pick them yourself. You better hurry they don't last more than a few weeks. I have seen some fields where they have already plowed them under. <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <> <>
"The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." - Mark Twain
Even a hawk is an eagle among crows. Old Apache saying Any fool can paint a picture, but it takes a wise man to be able to sell it. A handful of friends is worth more than a wagon of gold. Blessed are they that run around in circles, for they shall be known as wheels. By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail. Creditors have much better memories than debtors. Do not take life too seriously; You will never get out of it alive. God must love the common man; He made so many of them. He is truly wise who gains wisdom from another’s mishap. He was so narrow-minded he could see through a keyhole with both eyes. Ignorance is when you don’t know anything and somebody finds it out. It is better to wear out than to rust out. Men seldom show dimples to girls who have pimples. Mistakes are often the stepping stones to failure. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Did You Know ?
Peanuts are actually known by many other names: earthnuts, ground nuts, goober peas, pindar nuts, ground bean, monkey nuts, even pig nuts But no matter what you call them, you'll find plenty of them in the Dothan, Alabama area. Dothan is known as the Peanut Capital of the World and is a prime location for growing peanuts. In fact, if you're in Dothan you're in the heart of peanut country considering that a large portion of all the peanuts grown in the United States are grown within a 100-mile radius of Dothan. The United States has about three % of the world acreage of peanuts, but grows nearly 10 % of the world’s crop because of higher yields per acre. The United States is the world’s third largest producer, after China and India. (Georgia-Florida-Alabama-Mississippi) grew about 72 percent of all USA-grown peanuts.

1st electric shavers go on sale in US (Schick) In 1930 Jacob Schick incorporated his company as Schick Dry Shaver, Inc. He put them up for sale on March 18, 1931. The early electric razor did not meet widespread acceptance, as Schick had hoped, however he was able to open a factory in Stamford Conn. which employed about 100 people. The business grew steadily as new models were introduced through the years. In 1946 the name was changed to Schick, Inc., and in 1981 Norelco took over operations. Today, Norelco is located where Schick operated his electric shaver factory in Stamford. In 1931 they sold for $25 each (that’s about $360 in today’s money). About 3,000 moved the first year, and sales increased until 1.5 million were in users’ hands by 1937. (Click To Read More About Jacob Schick) <>

Weekly Horoscope: For Mar. 15, 2015 by Georgia Nicols
This is for the week of Mar. 15th thru Jan. 21th All Signs This week the Sun enters Aries where it will stay until April 20th. This will be a strong time not only for Aries, but also for Leo and Sagittarius because a lovely three-pronged support now exists between the Fire Signs with the Sun in Aries, Jupiter in Leo and Saturn in Sagittarius. (Think of a three-legged stool.) Fire Signs are active, dynamic and connected with movement. Fire Signs live large and burst with enthusiasm. They inspire! However, all signs will benefit from this union of fiery strength. And yeah, yeah, we all know how many firemen it takes to change a light bulb. One to change the bulb and three to cut a hole in the roof. (Actually, firemen are my heroes.)
