Meet Our Featured Vendor "The Cabbage Group"
Constantine Garcia;
He has worked on the market for 20 years, with his wife and two daughters helping him. He specializes in Cabbage, Eggplant and Peppers. Mr. Garcia was living in Mexico while his parents were here. His father started selling at the market 22 years ago. The first week of selling his father made $1,000. He called Constantine and said, hey I made $1,000 you need to come here and help me. So he did and has never left. |

Some Photos From The Last Couple Of Weeks
We get started early at the Plant City Farm & Flea Market
We are not necessarily an Antique & Collectable market, however many of those items
show up here at prices below what you would find in antique stores.
I wanted the locomotive engine bell below, but it was out of my price range.

Weekly Horoscope: For November 16, 2014 by Georgia Nicols
This is for the week of Nov. 16th thru Nov. 22nd
All Signs; This week the Sun moves into Sagittarius, which means that in the month ahead, we will shift from Scorpion energy into Sagittarian energy. A considerable change! Scorpio is intense, willful, passionate and secretive. Sagittarius loves to travel is freedom loving and optimistic. Everyone will suddenly want to blow town. ("Give me sunshine and white sand!") Since Sagittarians are future oriented, people will start making plans for the next year. (And well we should make plans for our future because after all, we're all going to spend the rest of our lives there.) CLICK HERE FOR YOUR SIGNS WEEKLY HOROSCOPE

Your Funny For The Day
I will seek and find you .
I shall take you to bed and have my way with you
I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan.
I will make you beg for mercy, you'll beg for me to stop.
I will exhaust you to the point that you will be
relieved when I'm finished with you.
And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.
All my love,
signed: The Flu
Now, go get your flu shot.
I shall take you to bed and have my way with you

47 Years Ago Nov 19, 1967: Killed in Vietnam
Chaplain (Major) Charles Watters of the 173rd Airborne Brigade is awarded the Medal of Honor. Chaplain Watters was serving with the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry when it conducted an attack against North Vietnamese forces entrenched on Hill 875 during the Battle of Dak To. At least six times he left the defensive perimeter with total disregard regard for his own personal safety to retrieve casualties and take them for medical attention. Once he was satisfied that all of the wounded were inside the perimeter, he busied himself helping the medics, applying bandages, and providing spiritual strength and support. According to reports filed by survivors of the battle, Father Watters was on his knees giving last rites to a dying soldier when an American bomber accidentally dropped a 500-pound bomb onto the group of paratroopers. Father Watters was killed instantly. |

Disney Worlds "Fort Wilderness" opens The years up until the winter of 1980 saw a very different Fort Wilderness than we have today in a few key ways. For one thing, although there were still some 750 acres set aside for the fort, there were far fewer campsites and less development. This actually added to the feel of the Old West frontier setting that was the hallmark of the campground's thyme. An old-fashioned steam train fit right in with this setting, and added an atmosphere that you were camped in the Old West. The Fort Wilderness Railroad operated from 1973 to 1980, and though its existence was short-lived, it remains a sentimental favorite to almost all who remember it. |
