Our Newsletter for May 17, 2017
The Newsletter is a little short this week, it's all that I had time to do. The market has acquired another 1 acre of land and I've been clearing and cleaning it up. I have put in 4 "12 hour days" and it has really worn me out.
Some Produce Prices From Last Week
Corn, Corn & More Corn. Sweet corn by the truckloads has
been coming into the market every day last week. The price has
run from $8.00 a Box to $11.00 a Box. Average box is 55 ears.

The price of produce on this page does not necessarily mean that is the going price on the entire market. We stop randomly at different vendors and ask the price at that given time. The price in the early hours could be higher, and in the evening hours when they are leaving it could be lower. The prices shown here should however give you an idea of what you could expect to pay. The price you will pay for produce at the Plant City Farm & Flea Market will almost always be lower than the price that is posted at any major produces exchange terminal.
