Makeup ! ! ! Just think about it, without makeup there would be no celebrities. With no celebrities, there would be no movie stars. Without movie stars there would be no movies. Without movies there would not be a Hollywood. The same goes for television. Without 'makeup' the world as we know it would cease to exist. It's really is scarey to think that our world depends on making us look like something that we aren't.

I bought this at the flea market last Wednesday. It is a flower pot made of cast iron. It weights about 40 lbs, has two holes for drainage, and has a cast iron bird on the edge. I can't fine any info on this item, and after talking with several people, nobody has ever seen one before. If you have any information on this, please let me know.

Last Wednesday was not the greatest day that we ever had. Rain was predicted up to 60%, it stopped at about 7:20 AM, however the thought of rain is enough to stop many dealers from making the trip to set up. I would estimate that we were about 40% full with dealers, but as time went on a large number of customers showed up. Here are some photos taken at the beginning of the day.

In East Liverpool, Ohio, notorious bank robber Pretty Boy Floyd is shot and killed by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents. Charles Arthur "Pretty Boy" Floyd (February 3, 1904 – October 22, 1934) was an American bank robber. He operated in the Midwest and West South Central States, and his criminal exploits gained widespread press coverage in the 1930s. Like most other prominent outlaws of that era, he was killed by policemen. Historians have speculated as to which officers were at the event, local or the FBI, known accounts document that local officers Robert "Pete" Pyle and George Curran were present at his fatal shooting and also at his embalming. Floyd has continued to be a familiar figure in American popular culture, sometimes seen as notorious, but at other times viewed as a tragic figure, partly a victim of the hard times of the Great Depression in the United States.
